In addition, the band have recorded a cover of JUDAS PRIEST's "Living After Midnight" and an acoustic version of "Sex Action", to be released later in the year.
Commented L.A. GUNS frontman Phil Lewis: "I'm sure that by just reading the titles you can figure out that this is something of a concept album Its all set in and about the many strange beautiful lost angels here in Hollywood, hence the 'tales from the strip.'
"Steve [Riley, drums], Adam [Hamilton, bass] and Stacy [Blades, guitar] gave me some amazing solid backing tracks to shout whine and scream over. Andy Johns and Bruce Witkin recorded and produced with skill precision and great humor. The songs sound like they could have come off 'Hollywood Vampires' but without all the slushy production. I'm sure if you're an L.A. GUNS fan, you'll love it."
"Things are very busy right now the last few days wev'e been figuring out a half-hour, 45-minute and 90-minute set list for the summer tour. We will be playing at least six songs from the new record and a couple from each record, We'll be playing 'Vampire' where we put ['The Ballad of Jayne'], but hope to play both.
"The record company are freaking over how good 'Tales' sounds and have a decent media blitz lined up but of course we'll need all your help when it finaly hits the street late July.
"Can't tell you how excited we are to get back on the road with this new record."
